I am a self-shooting producer director specialising in documentary filmmaking. I lived and worked in Kenya for 10 years, where I filmed and directed some extraordinary stories across the continent. My projects included the relocation of the last 4 Northern White Rhinos to Kenya, the first wildlife census in South Sudan after the civil war, a story on the Fosa of Madagscar, and a short film for CBBC featuring 3 street children and their entrepreneurial lives, living in Kenya's largest slum.In 2015, I moved to Glasgow to work with a Natural History company called Maramedia. With their fantastic team, I directed one program in the 4-part BBC 2 series 'Highlands: Scotland's Wild Heart'. I also directed and filmed ‘Hotel Armadillo’ narrated by Sir David Attenborough. More recently we combined drama and natural history in the PBS Nature program 'Wild Way of the Vikings'. We also won an RTS Scotland award for our CBEEBIES series 'Gudrun the Viking Princess', narrated by David Tenant.I love exploring human stories in the context of our rapidly changing planet.
