About Me

I’m an experienced, multi-lingual AP (fluent in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese) with a strong background in broadcast TV. I've been on location since October 2012 assisting a rotation of PDs, overseeing the work of researchers and setting up presenter-led shoots with crews in Europe, United States and Central America. Cristina worked as an Associate Producer on 'A Place in the Sun' throughout the time I SP-ed the programme (2015 - 2017) and beyond.

Cristina was absolutely fantastic in the role. Based on location for intensive 6-week long filming blocks, she needed to juggle the demands of both recce weeks - securing locations, researching, contributing editorially - and the shoot weeks themselves. She was without fail calm, hardworking, diligent, organised, proactive and very easy to get on with - as at ease with contributors as with as talent. She was a much liked and admired member of the team.

She'd be a credit to any production and I don't hesitate to recommend her. I sincerely hope to work with her again someday.

Joe Scannell - Series Producer 'A Place in the Sun'

I worked alongside Cristina for three years on ‘A place in the Sun’ for Channel 4, on location across a number of European destinations, the United States, and the Caribbean.

In a demanding role on the road, Cristina was professional and competent and worked quickly and efficiently to tight deadlines.

Cristina was excellent with both crew and contributors and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants a hard working and friendly multi-lingual AP on their production.

Paul Leyshon

Cristina worked as my AP on A Place in the Sun for more than a year. She rose to the challenge of a very tight schedule, working hard to liaise with crew/presenters/contributors/location owners to ensure the successful set up and smooth-running of shoots. The role was not a self-shooting one but Cristina developed independently, over the course of the contract, into a creative and trustworthy second camera op (Canon XF305) shooting GVs which proved invaluable. Productions that would require her to juggle multiple tasks (location access negotiation, schedule prep, location admin, editorial assistance) whilst keeping crew/talent fed/watered - all with a friendly, approachable attitude - would suit her down to the ground. She is a fast learner too and doesn't need constantly reminding how to carry out tasks that she might be less experienced with. She's great company and nothing is too much trouble which is great when you're up against it!
