Based in London, I'm a Director, Self Shooting PD working in film and broadcast television for over 20 years working on commissions for BBC, CBBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, PBS, ZDF, and RTL. I have a wealth of experience across various genres from feature films, documentaries, factual entertainment, and live performances. I've worked on multiple projects with award-winning documentary director Sue Bourne, who has been a great mentor over the years. I bring extremely high-quality stylish visuals combined with strong storytelling. I am a very confident director on location. I truly love my work! While making documentaries I've had the pleasure to meet and step into the lives of some incredible people who have opened up to me to tell their amazing stories. I am very sensitive and protective of them having worked with disabled young people, terminally ill patients, and families who have suffered from femicide. As a shooter, by focusing on listening and being aware I am able to capture the significant and emotional moments in everyday situations. I have strong lighting skills, including working with green screens, visual effects and motion graphics. I edit with FCPX, Premiere or AVID. For motion graphics and visual effects, I use After Effects, Photoshop and Cinema 4D. I have British and American passports and also hold permanent residency in Germany. I can speak fluent German having lived there for many years.
