Most recently, I was the Development Coordinator at Dancing Ledge Productions; an independent production company creating high end drama for BBC, Disney+, Netflix and HBO. I am disabled, come from a lower socioeconomic background, and did not attend university but have forged a career within the creative industry over the past 10 years. In my role at Dancing Ledge, I worked within the Development team reading scripts, providing coverage reports, script editing, meeting with writers, giving notes, researching, writing copy and creating materials for pitch decks, treatments, series bibles and socials. I also managed the CEO and MD's diaries, amongst other admin tasks on an adhoc basis, but am looking to step up into a role which allows me to focus solely on the creative and ideally join a company where I can grow with them. I have always been described as a hard worker and am a dedicated and passionate employee who is always willing to go above and beyond to produce work to the highest standard. I believe my experience could prove invaluable to any employer as I have an aversion to typos, strong storytelling instincts and a knack for dialogue and character development. I have a strong track record in generating and developing ideas and working with talent in my most recent role and my last. Last year whilst simultaneously working for Dancing Ledge, I developed and produced a funded podcast pilot for BBC Sounds based on my own, original idea with comedians Tom Allen & Desiree Birch as the hosts.
