I am experienced specialist factual and documentary Shooting PD and Edit Producer, known for my energy, creativity, and sense of warmth and humour.

My credits include long-form and short-form history, arts, dance, and music documentaries with high profile presenters (Sir Tom Jones, Frank Skinner, Tamara Rojo, Dua Lipa, Sir Antonio Pappano, Prof. Simon Schama) as well as fast-turnaround studio shows and live OBs, including: Crimewatch; Glastonbury; BBC Proms; the Mercury Prize; Undercover Boss; Russell Howard’s Good News; and operas from Glyndebourne and the Royal Opera House. My experience is varied and broad, from filming undercover in betting shops across the UK; to directing dramatic reconstructions of serious assaults on London buses; to interviewing 8 year-old show pony competitors whilst sitting on their immaculately groomed horses; to shooting backstage at the Royal Opera House – capturing the key moment Tosca jumps to her death.

I have a strong track record for delivering ambitious projects that challenge, surprise, and entertain. My main strength is directing and shooting on location - I am most happy when I am out in the field, capturing footage - whether it's a documentary shoot with contributors or presenters, performance capture with upcoming artists and musicians such as Dua lipa or Tom Grennan, or observational sequences and veritas filming. I have directed and self-shot on location across the UK and Europe, and I am known for my strong shooting skills and my distinctive and filmic style. I am able to light and self-shoot single camera shoots and observational sequences, as well as direct many multi-camera shoots and performance capture.

I am comfortable shooting on a variety cameras, including the C300 and the FS7, and I have passed the BBC's Single Camera Directing Course and Safe Lighting Course.  Aside from location filming, I am an experienced Edit Producer - able to work with editors to deliver fast-turnaround and long-form projects on time, to budget, and to length. I am adept at sourcing and clearing archive from all over the world and fair-dealing where feasible. Likewise, I have extensive casting and access experience - having negotiated access to companies such as DHL, Hyundai, and Biffa Bins. As well as embedded filming with institutions such as the Metropolitan Police Service and English National Ballet.
