I have worked with Stef on many many episodes of Countryfile and on Britain’s Big Wildlife Revival, so we’ve seen some challenging working conditions together over the years. Stef is picked regularly for the programme because he offers creative beauty that directors look for and works collaboratively with us all. He was especially selected to film the Great British Ramble for Countryfile because the production knew he could handle the incredibly tough physical day (on the shoulder for nine hours straight, walking backwards on steep coastal paths) while still delivering great shots and keeping spirits up. From a presenter's point of view, Stef is great to collaborate with in trying alternative takes and shooting styles for each sequence. It’s always great to see Stef’s name on the call sheet.
