I’m a London-based producer, filmmaker, video editor, and video journalist with over 15 years of experience across factual television, observational documentaries, news, digital media, live events, and ethnographic filmmaking. I bring a resourceful and inventive approach to storytelling, with a strong track record in finding compelling contributors and setting up shoots in 50+ countries, including remote, polar, and awe-inspiring corners of the world.

Before moving to the UK, I worked in Taiwan as a series producer and director, creating award-winning travel programmes. My work is driven by a desire to tell stories rooted in my community, to visualise lived experiences through a cinematic lens, and to act as a cultural bridge through storytelling.

Outside of my production work, I am committed to supporting and connecting non-fiction filmmakers and underrepresented communities in London. I currently serve as a mentor with the Film London Connect programme and the Goldsmiths, University of London Mentoring Scheme, where I share my experience and passion with the next generation of creative talent.

I'm currently developing a slate of documentary shorts and feature-length films that explore themes such as dance, marine ecology, queer identities, and cultural issues. My debut feature and other producing projects have been recognised and supported by international platforms and institutions including UnionDocs, CNEX/CCDF, and the National Culture and Arts Foundation in Taiwan.

• Video production and development – a clear, practical communicator experienced in fast-turnaround environments
• Editing in Adobe Premiere – for short films and factual content across TV, digital platforms, and corporate clients
• Self-shooting – experienced with Canon XF305, C100, and owner of a GH6 camera
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to build good rapport with crew and contributors
• Highly organised, observant, and always ready to take on new challenges
• Casting, negotiating access, interviewing, and in-depth research
• Native Mandarin Chinese speaker with fluent English proficiency
• Field producing and shoot coordination across four continents
