I'm a skilled interviewer, and am confident working with people from A-listers to young children. I have experience edit producing across panel shows, feature-length documentary and VTs. I am currently developing several of my own projects and formats, in conjunction with production companies I have previously worked with.
After several years concentrating on documentary and talking-heads shows, I recently returned to studio entertainment, to series produce a brand new format of three 90' comedy quiz shows: 'Sally Lindsay's 70s' Quiz Night', '80s' Quiz Night' and 'Christmas Quiz Night.' These super-fast-turnaround shows were my first experience of filming in a virtual studio.
My previous studio experience includes two series of 'A League Of Their Own', two series of 'The Apprentice: You're Fired', and five series of 'Would I Lie To You?', as well as producing shows including '8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown', and 'The Matt Lucas Awards'. I've also made many studio pilots, including three commissioned series: 'Insert Name Here' 'Sweat The Small Stuff' (BBC3) and 'Fake Reaction' (ITV2).
Away from studio, my most recent work includes a feature-length documentary looking into the history of some of our favourite TV adverts for C5, and series producing six 60’ and three 90’ documentaries for 5 telling the untold stories behind popular TV shows and film series, including ‘Top Of The Pops’, ‘The Good Life’, ‘Doctor Who’ and the ‘Carry On’ films.
I've made documentaries about - and with - the entertainment legends Billy Connolly and Jimmy Tarbuck, as well as grilling some huge names from Carrie Fisher to Frankie Boyle about the joys and horrors of parenthood in C4's 'Parenting For Idiots', and digging into the complexities of Britishness with contributors as diverse as James Corden and Baroness Trumpington for C4's 'Very British Problems'.
