About Me
I love working with Kate Staples. She's very good at her job and lovely to work alongside. She's good at leading a team but can also roll up her sleeves and do it herself when needs be. She's got the ability to get into the fine detail of a project but also set a vision for the series as a whole. She can get the most out of a researcher and also talk directly the channel about their needs. She recruits well for the production team and also casts well for contributors. I've worked with her a lot and would jump at the chance to do so again and would have no qualms about hiring her as an exec, indeed I would be thrilled. She's also very funny.
Kate is an excellent, versatile organised and creative producer who handles Talent, writers and archive material with aplomb. She is a clear communicator and a great team player and leader. She is also very resilient. A safe pair of hands sounds boring -but it's true she is very reliable with great judgement. I look forward to working again with Kate very soon.
