From working my way through Running, Assisting, Support, Editing and Management both in London and Bristol, I have gained a great amount of both technical and operational knowledge in many platforms such as Avid Media Composer, Final Cut 7, Final Cut X and Premier Pro CC alongside other finishing and delivery systems such as Da Vinci Resolve and Vid Check. I have been at the heart of technical support which has allowed me to build up a vast amount of troubleshooting experiences and solutions, as well as consistently adding new technologies to my knowledge and workflow strategies which contribute to the smooth day to day running of both pre and post facilities. Whilst previously working at Doghouse Post Production, I became Technical Manager of the facility which consisted of 12 Online/Offline/Audio suites and 7 staff/client work stations, in addition to multiple ingest stations and a busy Meta San & Isis storage system. Since then I moved from this sole Post Production environment to Post Production within Production at BBC Bristol, where I successfully ran 4 Edit suites with technical support and media managing multiple CBeebies/CBBC projects within the NHU. During my time here my main focus and workflow/ project management was on Cbeebies ‘Andy's Prehistoric Adventure’s’, during which I was also providing technical and project support for the Green Screen Studio Production and Edits at an external Post Production facility. After moving onto other productions within BBC Bristol, more recently I have moved from BBC Bristol to Tigress Productions, working closely with National Geographic on ‘Dian Fossey: Secrets in the Mist’, consisting of more Drama and Documentary style content.With my technical background I am able to manage many workflow ideas, media management and technical expectations whilst avoiding and predicting many problems which could impact on aspects such as scheduling and financial budgets, during which a high level of customer care and meticulous attention to detail are met.Through experience of working with different tape and tapeless formats I am able to give accurate recommendations on what would be suitable for individual productions from codecs, ingest, backups and editing platforms to delivery and storage. This has also meant that from working closely with many Productions I have also nurtured and developed constructive client based relationships both in and outside of work.I am very dedicated to my job however I do also like to have a good balance of fun and work whilst meeting new people along the way. I have experience of leading a successful team of technical support and edit assistants, whilst organising training and action plans to enhance the production of individuals and the company as a whole. This also includes organising, purchasing and implementing new equipment within certain financial budgets for both staff use and for hire purposes for client use.  I am always very keen to learn new technologies and working platforms to enhance my own knowledge and capabilities further as well as learning more from professionals I have the pleasure to work with.
