I have known Marcus Relton for over fifteen years and he is a good friend and a very talented producer and director as well as being a journalist. Marcus is a natural storyteller and also possesses good technical knowledge on all aspects of video production. I would recommend Marcus to anyone in the media world as being a a good listener and communicator, as well as having a great creative control over the subject matter, no matter how complex it is.

Azeem Khan, Assistant Producer / Researcher

I’ve been working with Marcus Relton as Editor on his films in the past few years the latest of which is a feature observational documentary film due to be released in 2020. I found him a professional Producer/Director who gets the best from his subjects and team with a good sense of humour, temper and polite manner which is a must especially working in hostile and difficult environment and he has proven it in his latest film in Africa.

On top of that he shoots his own film and very good at it. He covers it well with plenty of options for his editor which is a delight when one cuts his programmes. I highly recommend him.

Rashid Davari, Senior Video/Film Editor

Rashid Davari

Marcus worked with me on a documentary for the BBC exposing serious safety issues in the offshore oil industry, which led to the deaths of two workers. The company had been warned about the problems and failed to take action. Marcus helped to research the programme, secured an interview with the fiancé of one of the workers and helped secure the key interview with a former safety inspector, who confirmed that he had raised concerns about safety critical maintenance.
