I have over 25 years' experience as Series Producer, Director and Executive Producer working and living in the UK, US and Canada. Recently I took some time out from Production to assist my partner in creating a joint dream - an emporium in the Peak District based in a large heritage building, showcasing local food suppliers, artists and artisans to create a unique retail experience. (www.thebuxtontradingpost.co.uk) It has quickly become a destination for locals and those from farther afield and we have just begun supplying restaurants and gastropubs with our handmade gourmet sausages. We created and built the business from scratch, and now feature over 70 local food suppliers, 60 local artists and craftspeople. I also got to realise my dream of buying and selling my own antiques. It's been a steep learning curve, and now I feel ready to take on new television projects, armed with some new skills!
I am comfortable in a wide range of programming, especially factual entertainment, specialist factual, lifestyle series, celebrity and presenter-led programmes and quiz shows. I have produced content for most major broadcasters in the UK, US and Canada, including BBC, ITV, C4, Quest, A&E, Discovery, HGTV, Food Network and OWN.
