I am an experienced documentary and factual Series Producer and Executive Producer, as well as a qualified journalist and former ITV news correspondent. My most recent projects have been series producing Killer Evidence for CBS Reality and Evidence of the Unexplained for SkyHistory.

I executive produced a BAFTA long-listed 90-minute feature documentary, Hostile, which has played at UK film festivals and was released in cinemas in January 2022. 

Another recent executive producer role was on Race to Victory, a six part documentary series for the History Channel about the role of Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt during WW2.

These have all been creative roles involving writing, rewriting and structuring – with some directing and interviewing as well as singing off scripts and cuts.

Before this, I was the Executive Producer of Discovery Education's digital news service aimed at school children, making short news and current affairs films and signing off all output including daily and weekly bulletins.

I spent the early part of my career as an on-screen reporter and correspondent for ITV News and ITN - and produced and directed several half-hour current affairs documentaries. I specialised in science and medical stories and was ITV Westcoutry’s first Health Correspondent.

Health and social affairs and filming in sensitive environments remain an area of particular interest for me.

In 2012, I moved from news to factual programming and worked as a producer at Mentorn. There, I archive produced the World's Scariest series for Channel Five; worked on access for Traffic Cops and Freshers; produced fast turnarounds on Pope Francis for NatGeo and on the Cleveland captives for BBC3; and worked in development across a range of programmes.

Moving to ITN Productions, I produced on Flight 370 – the Missing Links (Discovery) and edit produced two episodes of Young Vets (BBC2). Then at Clover Films, I edit produced Girls of the Taliban and Living under Drones (Al Jazeera) and developed films on mental health. I have also edit produced at Channel 5.

As executive producer of my own company, I have produced and directed a one-hour about life in a neonatal unit, commissioned by the NHS, as well as charity films in a children's hospice in Romania and a Women's Refuge in Yorkshire. I have also made commercial shorts for Souteastern Railways. I am currently producing a series of mental health films for the NHS. Read Less
