**Based just outside of the M25**I am a highly visual and story driven BAFTA nominated series director/producer and editor of many series such as Top Gear, Dynamo Magician Impossible, Gadget Man, Gareth Malone's Naked Choir and Made In Chelsea to name just a few. My passion in all aspects of making TV means rather than always working on a specific genre my experience has been broad in documentary, factual, ob-doc, performance, fact-ent, reality, drama/feature films, music videos and commercials. This means I can cross over to any type of program with ease and also take my experience of others into it.I am also very strong in the edit, self editing and edit producing a lot of my own films, shows and whole series, and have 1000's of hours working with editors too, very much in tune of what viewers connect with, storytelling, scripting, pacing, tone and music. I often take shows right from pre-production all the way to final delivery, being a very trusted pair of hands overseeing multiple edits and also all elements of final post such as grade, mix, online. This along with very high standard of self operating and lighting means that when directing I know exactly what works and what is needed for an edit both visually and story wise.On location, I am calm, decisive, very well organised, always a step ahead and a great problem solver due to my many years out filming in nearly all scenarios from location to studio or the hottest place on earth to one of the coldest. I have a lot of experience filming all over the world in from the height of luxury to extreme conditions in the USA, Europe and China, to more obscure places like Kazakhstan, Ethiopia and Oman. I am very experienced managing extremely complex large shoots with over 100 people but equally as comfortable with small intimate shoots.I am known for working very well with talent, and have formed close relationships with many of them often continuing after the production finishes. Working with names such as Matt LeBlanc, Jeremy Clarkson, Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Konnie Huq, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Ryan, Chris Evans, Paddy McGuiness, Richard Hammond, Vic Reeves and Abbey Clancy.I have also made two commercially released feature films charting in the national DVD top 10 and directed the 2nd unit on two action films staring Pierce Brosnan and Robert Carlyle.
