I’ve previously worked for Metro and Time Out and ran my own blog for seven years.I currently hold the position of Commercial Movies Video Producer at MTV, where I thrive under the pressure of a fast-turnaround news environment as an advanced editor in both linear and digital content, I produce high-performing daily video and news pieces across all social platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat Discover. Writing, producing and editing a linear weekly TV spotlight special which airs on 23 channels to 120m+ potential households. I have six years’ experience as a front of camera journalist, the point person for all things movies at MTV. Managing not only the video interns, but a network of freelance stringers, globally pitching game concepts to publicists and studios. Through to attending the press junkets, with an established back catalogue of high-trafficking celebrity interviews. I am well versed in all aspects of production: from organising and managing shoots, to filming on the ground at tentpole events, to filming with in-house studio cameras and casting and directing voiceover artists, negotiating their fees and prepping legal contracts.
