With over 20 years of archive experience I have worked on a variety of programmes including factual documentaries, biographies, history, comedy, true crime, current affairs, music, clip shows, panel shows and studio entertainment and can turn my hand to any genre. I am very editorial and come from a journalistic background so I know how to tell and enhance a story with archive. I have worked with personal archives and user generated content, liaising with talent and members of the public to find the best and sometimes unseen material and I can also budget for and facilitate the development of ideas. I have an excellent knowledge of sourcing and clearing material from national and international sources with good relationships built up over the years. I have extensive experience of fair dealing and parody, clearing third parties, managing archive budgets and I love being able to track down even the most obscure requests.
