I have worked with Matt on several films both when he was an AP and a director/producer. Not only was he lovely to work with but also grappled brilliantly with very complicated subjects that required a lot of specialist knowledge - and adapted to storylines that kept changing. He is dedicated, has a good eye, is very efficient but manages also to be relaxed on shoots - not an easy thing to pull off. I'd be delighted to work with him again.

I've worked with Matt for many years now - whether on international shoots, up a mountain in a storm, or dealing with complex logistics, he always manages to bring home the goods. He's an excellent self-shooter and drone op, and has a really creative eye. As well as delivering great pictures, Matt also understands the importance of music to creative a narrative, and so he also has a great 'ear'! He's a great team player but also a self-starter and not afraid to muck in and pick up the phone, to make the best film he can.

Matt has recently turned his hand - very successfully - to directing on Countryfile. He has written, directed and edit produced a number of films, working with high profile talent for the series. He was responsible for health and safety considerations as well as managing all the filming on location and post production.
