I have Series Produced some of the BBC's biggest live events including The Queen's Funeral, The Coronation Concert and the Platinum Jubilee Beacons. Many of the shows I've worked on have won Baftas and RTS awards. I have a very good understanding of the BBC One audience, and production techniques (I have a degree in film and video production), and consequently I'm particularly good at coming up with new ideas to fit in existing formats often at no extra cost to production, for example I added West End musical performances to The Lord Mayor's Show. I'm good at leading small teams and producing talent, and I'm very good under pressure. I write all my own scripts and running orders.

For the last 5 years I've spent 75% of my time producing the coverage of national events and the other 25% edit producing.

Prior to that I was a jack of all trades in various genres including history, comedy, music, science, obs-doc and sport. I've directed crews and also self-shot PTCs and interviews around the world with senior royals like Prince Harry, international film stars like Daniel Craig, and music performances with artists like Rag 'n' Bone Man. I self edited films for the BBC's online channels. I've even vision mixed for a live BBC One broadcast.

I've worked in TV for about 17 years and I've always been re-employed (or extended) by my line managers.  Read Less
