I am an experienced fixed rig and PSC Self Shoot Producer/Director, PD, Edit Producer and Journalist (FX9, FS7, FS5, C300, PMW 200/300, Canon XF305 and Go Pros). I self light, am happy with sound and can manage multi camera shoots single handedly or as part of a team. I am very experienced working with or without talent and am able to manage sensitive/distressing subjects well. I have extensive compliance and legal knowledge and I am a very strong and confident Edit Producer and Editor with Premier Pro and Avid Media Composer skills.  I have 9 years experience in making 1 hour programmes, 30minute programmes and shorter VTs for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, The History Channel, CBBC, and Channel 5. This involves pre-scripted and unscripted productions. I am able to manage my own budgets and am confident at making shoots work on a low budget with time constraints. I have worked across many different genres including history, factual, specialist factual (including archaelology), current affairs, consumer (including money saving/exposure formats), crime (including following the police on raids), rural, DIY/makeover shows, politics, food, children’s TV, and obs docs (including hospitals and schools).
