I have more than 25 years experience at production management level, both in the independent sector and at the BBC, which has given me a solid understanding of a broad and diverse range of programming that has included drama and documentary formats, shot in the studio or on location, either OB or PSC and in live and recorded situations. I have knowledge of financial, administrative and production procedures, with particular strengths in controlling complex budgets and devising successful production schedules. I have a keen eye for detail whilst remaining alert to the bigger picture and, where possible, like to be involved in all aspects of production, including editorial content, logistics and finance. I have also worked at the higher level of Production Executive, working with the Head of Production and the senior editorial team to secure new business and oversee projects currently in production which has given me a closer insight into Commissioning and Business Affairs procedures.
