I entered the broadcasting industry in 1988 and became full time in 1990 as a freelance cameraman, providing both P.S.C. and multi-camera skills. Shooting a range of factual programming, live, sports and studio work. In 1993 I undertook a full time course at the Northern Media School studying for a PG Diploma/MA in film and television production.

After graduating at the beginning of 1994, returned to freelance camera work, and gained an MA Film & Television Production in 1996, Now an established freelance Lighting Cameraman, and self shooting AP/dircector with work encompassing a wide range of documentary, factual, sport and entertainment programming for broadcasters and independent production companies.

An extensive client list has been established which includes broadcasters and independents such as BBC, Carlton, Sky, I.T.N., CNN, Endemol, and Olympic Broadcasting Services, International Sports Broadcasting. Other work has been with Augusta Westland Helicopters, Coca-Cola–Cadbury Schweppes, Ford Motor Co. Awards include shooting 3 Royal Television Society winning factual films.
