I have a strong knowledge of kit and know how to properly set up, operate and care for all aspects of it. I am diligent with getting releases signed, can create detailed logs with story notes, and will keep floats and rushes safely organised. I show up fully prepared and committed to every shoot I work on; I have the versatility and willing to do any task required of me and can prioritise my time to help ensure that the shoot goes smoothly.I am just as capable in pre-production. I have the creativity to generate ideas for activities or challenges, can maintain focus and work methodically to cast contributors then carry out background checks, and can think rationally to assist with scheduling. I am also technically proficient enough to source and prepare kit ready for shoots. I am more than happy to reel off dozens of phone calls and emails and am very computer literate.I am a safe, confident driver and have held a full clean licence for over 10 years. Professionally I have driven long wheelbase vans when working on ‘The Button’ and large MPV’s while abroad for ‘Heartbreak Holiday’. Outside of work I have also driven in all kinds of environments and conditions in over 20 different countries throughout the world by participating in the Baja 4000 and Mongol Rally.Prior to working in television, I developed many transferrable skills which I have used to my benefit. When working various roles in hospitality, I would have to work efficiently and accurately at the busiest of times, be friendly yet professional and take responsibility to ensure additional jobs were completed without disruption to standard service. As an audio-visual technician I had to be self-reliant to provide the cinema experience to various venues around the county, and was responsible for the transportation, setting up and testing of all the equipment in a short turnaround time.
