Personal Statement: I am a highly organised Director of Production with experience across a variety of programme genres; these include live OB, sport, studio, international shoots, food, children’s, comedy, documentary, corporate, music and light entertainment. Having worked on large productions both within the UK and overseas I remain calm under pressure and always deliver to the best of my capabilities.Key Skills and Experience * Managing single and multi-camera shoots both live and pre-recorded within the UK and overseas, this has been in studio, on large scale OB’s, in complicated locations and within the sports arena. * Overseeing large scale productions with multiple Production Managers and Coordinators. * Cash flow within cost managers and creating budgets, I am specifically trained on the PMI and Just Produce systems as well as working in excel cost managers. * Creating and managing production and edit schedules whether it is for a one off show or a long series. * Having worked on both UK and international shoots I have overseen transport, accommodation, carnets, insurance, visas, kit, crew booking, location and audition venue sourcing and logistics for production team, crew and talent. This has been on static shoots or shoots that have involved a lot of continuous travelling. * Overseeing all aspects of post-production including negotiating and liaising with both in house and independent post production facilities houses, I can source and clear archive and music for edits and am confident at managing large quantities of varying media in tapeless and HD formats. * Negotiating sensitive and challenging access both for contributors and locations. * Agreeing prices/rates with crew, production team and equipment suppliers. * Dealing with complex risk assessments and health and safety documentation and liaising with third party safety advisors within the UK and overseas. * Child licensing with councils all across the UK and internationally. * Prior to working in Production I worked in Studio management so I have a strong technical understanding of the studio process.
