I am an EE BAFTA Film nominated producer/director with a strong creative vision and a track record in factual television production. Over the last 19 years I have exec produced, directed and developed a range of multi-camera films for UK and international broadcasters, in remote and challenging locations around the world. My credits include Channel 4, BBC, Channel 5, ITV, National Geographic, Eden, S4C & France Télévisions. A strong self-shooter with sharp editorial skills, I have an innate understanding of storytelling as well as a track record in development with a proven ability to originate, write and deliver ideas to commission for a variety of broadcasters across a range of genres. I’m skilled at sourcing participants and securing access to institutions (especially for sensitive subjects), setting up shoots, creating taster tapes and writing treatments. I have excellent research skills, and I’m confident working alone or leading a development team. I’m also accomplished at managing large productions, complex shoots (incl. underwater and aerial filming), as well as re-versioning international co-productions. I’ve worked closely with a number of leading distributors; have a good set of contacts and a strong working knowledge of UK and international markets.
