I am an Award-Winning Producer/Director and Series Director with 15 years experience directing single documentaries and series. Nominated for RTS Young Journalist of the Year in 2006, I specialise in observational documentaries that foreground human stories and speak to the big issues of the day. I am particularly experienced at managing sensitive access situations, putting the contributors and their welfare first. I have negotiated access to NHS trusts, Holloway Prison, Mental Health trusts, schools and charities and produced programmes that have been well received by all. As well as shooting and directing single documentaries, I have directed multi-camera shoots, worked on rig-shows and looked after happy teams.I have developed a number of my own projects and had them commissioned and shown on Channel 4, ITV and BBCTHREE on subjects such as homelessness, women in prison and tackling bullying in schools.
