I am an experienced, award winning Series Producer / Director, and have worked across a variety of genres from Ob doc and documentary to medical, travel, blue light, cookery/food, natural history, current affairs and history. I'm a strong story teller and will quickly gasp the subject matter and find the narrative through. I have travelled extensively for filming, from the Amazon to the arctic. The more challenging the place the better. I've been self shooting for many years. The first time I picked up a camera as a "self shooter" I already had several years experience as a director working with crews and cutting in edits, so understood the shots needed to craft a solid sequence and build a story. My shots are visually strong, I have a good understanding of compliance, can connect with inexperienced contributors, and will deliver what the edit needs. Edit Producing I enjoy, having spent most of lock down in the edit. It's often challenging dealing with rushes filmed by inexperienced directors, but I will find a way to make it work. I can work quickly, and across multiple edits. I’m Bristol based, but if the project is interesting enough, am happy to be based anywhere. Any projects that might involve relocating abroad for a time would really spark my interest. My relaxation revolves around food and fitness. I love to eat! I also equally love to burn the calories off by playing tennis, long distance open water swimming, cycling, running and staying healthy and strong. I'm well read on nutrition, the power of great food and what it takes to fuel a body, loath fast food chains and love nothing better than an amazing meal and a good glass of wine, ideally in a foreign location.
