I really enjoy the changing pace, flip-flopping between documentary making, development and popular/specialist factual production. It feels valuable to stretch different muscles and face different responsibilities, which has broadened my skillset. I have frequently enjoyed being part of larger teams with shoots at home and abroad. Equally, I am totally comfortable working independently and remotely, or closely with a small team to produce important television that shines a light on stuff that matters.

I am genuinely interested in everyone I meet, and my natural approach brings honesty, sincerity and compassion no matter what the subject matter. I am passionate about giving voice to untold elements of society, and thrive in complex access and storytelling, seeking out compelling contributors with powerful storylines. I have the patience and tenacity to build trusting relationships with contributors who might be suspicious, nervous, or vulnerable. In recent years I have been drawn to projects that encompass complex casting and welfare, with a focus on diversity & inclusion, disabilities, neurodiversity and mental health conditions. Read Less
