I’m a thoughtful and versatile Senior Producer with a background in documentary, popular and specialist factual television, with particular strengths in story producing, casting, sensitive access and contributor welfare.

I’m skilled at shaping narratives and enjoy the creative process of storytelling. Much of my work involves sensitive access, complex emotional stories and contributor welfare within access-led documentaries, rig shows, returning formats and first series. I’m known for building trust quickly, handling difficult subjects with care and bringing calm editorial judgement to challenging situations. I’m comfortable working closely with contributors, production and editorial teams to balance duty of care with the needs of the programme.

I’m not too earnest! I love the lighter side of television too — making warm, engaging programmes with humour and heart. I particularly enjoy finding brilliant characters and shaping people-led stories from the ground up. I’m equally happy directing talent or contributors on location, leading master interviews, or heading a casting team.
