Imaginative, tenacious & adaptable producer with a diverse range of casting, location and development experience in documentary, food, arts and popular factual television. I have a strong record of establishing and sustaining robust and fruitful relationships with contributors from all backgrounds; gaining complex access including sensitive subject matters; and working closely with talent & experts in the UK and abroad. I am looking to further develop my edit producing skills.My natural approach brings honesty, sincerity and compassion. I have the patience and determination to build trusting relationships with contributors who might be suspicious, nervous, or vulnerable. I am passionate about giving voice to untold elements of society, and thrive in complex access and storytelling, seeking out compelling contributors with powerful storylines. I love to develop interesting narratives and cohesive story arcs, while making sure these are told in an engaging and authentic manner.I’d like to add that I have worked hard to become a well-rounded producer experienced in a variety of genres. I really enjoy the changing pace of flip-flopping between documentary making, development and popular factual production. It feels valuable to stretch different muscles and face different responsibilities which has broadened my skillset and work experience. I have frequently enjoyed being part of larger teams with shoots at home and abroad. Equally, I am totally comfortable working independently and remotely, or closely with a small team to produce important television that shines a light on stuff that matters. I find a good balance between challenging and sensitive subject matter, and then lighter specialist factual programmes in areas I am interested in like Art, Food, Architecture and Travel.I have a degree in Fine Art which has informed a keen eye for detail, as well as an articulate & creative attitude to programme making.
