Shooting PD with a background in observational documentaries, specialist factual and factual entertainment. Highly organised and confident self-shooter (FX9, FS7, PXW-Z450, A7S II, C300, F800 etc.) with a good understanding of how to film sequences, actuality and master interviews with visual flair, and how to piece stories together in the edit. Accustomed to working on demanding shows in both domestic and harsh remote locations. Able to read situations well and get key sync from actuality and in depth interviews. Proficient at identifying and developing stories with good editorial judgement, lighting and shooting master interviews, writing scripts, directing crews, casting strong contributors, negotiating tricky access (to both locations and people), working with talent, and setting up shoots in the UK and abroad.
