I have extensive UK and US network experience as a series director and Shooting PD, and hold UK, US & EU passports. I started my career at the BBC and have lived and worked in London, Washington DC, and San Francisco. I have wide-ranging self-shooting expertise, from science and history docs to reality TV. I've managed large production teams on complex multi-camera productions, including many episodes of Mythbusters, Gold Rush, and Extreme Machines.

I started as a technician at the BBC before transitioning into producing and directing. I've remained hands-on and continued throughout my career to learn new skills and to adapt to new technologies and working practices. I now have extensive filming experience and have edited many long and short-form productions. This skill set enables me to be hands-on or lead others with an in-depth knowledge of every crew member's job.

I pride myself on being a trusted, safe pair of hands. I have a long track record of producing engaging, creative content and solving problems with diplomacy and good humour.
