Over the past 5 years, I've been working on high-budget natural history series for streaming giants like Netflix, Disney+, and AppleTV+. Through these experiences, I've honed my skills as a storyteller and problem-solver. However, as much as I enjoyed the challenges of natural history television, I've come to realize that my expertise and enthusiasm are better suited to factual entertainment.

My shift in focus comes from a desire to tell a more intricate and intimate range of stories, which is not possible with animals. Since my last production job, I traveled to Brazil for a personal documentary project, interweaving the colourful spectacle of dance and costume of the Rio de Janeiro carnival with the important themes of environmentalism and indigenous rights.

The expertise I've gained over the last few years readily translates to roles as a casting or location researcher. These include caring for crews and boosting morale, crafting engaging narratives, coordinating shoots, organizing schedules, and building relationships with contributors. While working on Earthsounds at Offspring Films, I planned and managed whole crews on international shoots composed of scientists, locals, contributors, and camera teams. Additionally, during my studies at NFTS, I gained a diverse skill set that has greatly enhanced my abilities as a researcher, including expertise in cinematography, scriptwriting, and production management.
