I've got lots of practical and transferable skills inclduing Camera Operating, Follow Spot Operation, Vision Mixing, Multi-camera Directing, Producing, Basic Editing and After Effects Compositions.
Post COVID, like many I had a small deviation from the industry, first working for 3 years a Media Production Manager for Studio Salford. Part of the University of Salford, I helped run this small department tasked with giving students and graduates paid work experience on real world media projects.
In 2023 I joined JIST full time, after a number of freelance engagmetns including Manchester International Festival 2023, a Manchester bsaed creative agency and production company as their Creative Producer for Arts and Theatre. Responsibilities including idea generation to support a brief, budgeting, producting, directing, shooting and editing content for TV, Radio and OOH. Content included Multi-camera captures of theatre productions, EPKs, Radio Ads, Campains for London Underground and Mainline railway stations.
My full general list of credits is below but the highlights Running and Logging on programmes such as 'Britains Got Talent', 'Let it Shine', 'The Voice UK' and 'Bublé at the BBC'. Work on documentaires such as BBCs 'Ambulance' (Technical Runner/Junior Researcher) & UKTV's 'Inside the Ambulance' (Data Wrangler/Story Producer), and more recently Follow Spot Operating for Eurovision 2023, 'The Voice UK', 'Starstruck', 'The Masked Dancer' and 'Building The Band'.
