I’m an assistant producer with extensive children’s, educational and factual TV experience, working on location, in development and in a fast-paced studio environment.

I started my career in the US working in reality TV and public broadcasting (where I also worked in online and multi-platform content) and followed this with close to four years at BBC Studios Kids & Family working on shows such as Blue Peter, Grace's Amazing Machines and Swashbuckle. I also headed up development of Natural History films for The One Show.

I love telling stories with heart and creating stellar factual and entertainment content. Always brimming with great ideas, I regularly develop and pitch items that are commissioned or greenlit, including multiple films on Blue Peter and The One Show and a mini pre-school documentary as part of a collaboration with the European Broadcasting Union and CBeebies.

I have experience sourcing, casting and working with diverse child and adult contributors; finding and securing locations and handling the associated paperwork; working with schools for casting and filming; setting up complex shoots, including with vehicles and drones; scriptwriting and directing; edit producing (including voiceovers); working with high-profile talent and presenters; sourcing archive; and self-shooting.

I most recently worked in development for the BBC Studios Kids & Family Unscripted Development team after returning from maternity leave.
