I'm a versatile producer with a proven track record of edit producing and casting factual entertainment / popular factual formats and features, open to EDIT PRODUCER, SENIOR CASTING/WELFARE PRODUCER AND CASTING EXECUTIVE ROLES. I also want to bring together my skillset into a Series Producer role, in the not too distant future.

As an EDIT PRODUCER, I'm creative, hard working, reliable and have sound editorial judgement / a good eye for a story, with strong scripting skills and attention to detail. I'm capable of producing fast turnaround series for both UK and US broadcasters, dealing with compliance issues whilst keeping to tight schedules and budgets. I also enjoy the challenge of taking on and researching new subject areas, leaving no stone unturned to give viewers the best factual take away possible.

As a SENIOR CASTING PRODUCER, I have cast some of the UK's best-known business formats, including 'Dragons Den', 'The Apprentice' and 'Undercover Boss', as well as 'The Money Maker' and 'Buy It Now', having cast hundreds of characterful entrepreneurs and brilliant businesses over the years. As a result, I have an excellent knowledge of business and business terminology. I have also led and managed casting teams to deliver a variety of contributors, experts and and on-screen talent within a variety of genres - including property and travelogues. I’m devoted to inclusivity and sourcing contributors from underrepresented groups. I’m dogged and determined, positive but realistic - and adept at creating casting protocols, managing casting teams and pitching. I'm also a qualified MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER and I have led welfare as SENIOR WELFARE PRODUCER on primetime series, including 'The Apprentice', 'The Circle' and 'Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars'. As such, I am passionate about contributor care and providing transparency to contributors throughout the pre-production, production and post-production process.

As a FORWARD PLANNING / VT PRODUCER, I am able to draw experience from my early career at Newsround and BBC Radio 5 Live, where the daily pressure of fast turn around filming setup, gave me the skills to phone bash, persuade, research subject matter and schedule filming quickly. As a result, I enjoy managing shoot setup and creating complex filming schedules. In previous similar roles on BBC 1's 'Home Away From Home' and Channel 5's 'House Doctor', I worked alongside the Series Producer to oversee the shooting schedules, editorial and team movements across these two high volume series. On Channel 4's 'Buy It Now', my Producer role not only involved casting 100+ contributors and dealing with all of the compliance challenges of a new series, but helping to oversee the on-screen editorial for each contributor and being across the scheduling of filming days, working alongside the SP, Exec and Production Manager. I also was the main point of contact for the 'talent' on the series during filming. I have experience in compliance, building trust / maintaining good relationships with contributors, managing access with talent and organisations, welfare and shoot setup.

I also have foreign filming experience, most recently filming in China, Vietnam and Thailand.

Competent editor on Avid, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere. Able to use software such as Forscene, Remotix and Blackbird.
