I'm a creative, visual Producer/ Director specialising in Arts, Biography, Music, History & Travel documentaries (I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, so I'm interested in this area, too!) I have a strong track record in creating visually arreseting, well-scripted films with compelling storytelling and emotional impact. I have extensive experience in working with high-profile on-screen talent (including Helena Bonham Carter, Armando Iannucci, Jo Brand, Imelda Staunton, Sophie Dahl, Nadiya Hussain, James McAvoy and Peter Capaldi) as well as sensitively directing brand new presenters to deliver relaxed and natural performances. My background is in the Arts (I have a First Class English Literature degree) but I love delving into all subject areas in the course of programme reserach. I enjoy working with different production teams to bring untold stories to the screen in innovative and exciting ways, and I've had experiernce of directing drama reconstruction elements to add to the visual texture of a film. I enjoy the logistical challenges foreign filming, and I'm happy to travel anywhere that serves the story. I have directed shoots all over Europe, as well as America, Canada and India.
