Emmy award-winning, self-shooting Producer/Director, Series Director and Edit Producer, with multiple UK and international broadcast credits.

After working as a film editor for a number of years, editing award-winning feature docs that showed at Sundance, Berlin, and Sheffield Doc fest, and being nominated for the BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) Best Editor award, I wanted a new challenge, and so in 2013, I started working as a self-shooting producer/director.

10 years on, films I've directed have won: The Social Impact Media Awards Best Director, Grierson Nomination for Best Newcomer, International Documentary Association Pare Lorentz Award, Banff Film Festival Best Film Adventure and Exploration, among others.

As an experienced self-shooting P/D, and Series Director, I'm confident working with a production team, guiding and inspiring them, plus managing onscreen talent, while dealing with sensitive and raw subject matter. I've made Ob-docs, drama docs, and more recently archive+interview based films. I'm always learning on each project and just love making films... it's addictive!

I've recently scripted, shot and overseen the edit on 4 films in the 8-part A&E series, SECRETS OF THE HELLS ANGELS. Really proud that we managed to highlight the female voices of ex-HA wives and partners, who had never spoken on camera before. Read Less
