I am a shooting producer / director and series director with extensive foreign filming experience and specialism in remote and extreme environments. I am able to deliver compelling narrative from even the toughest locations, having filmed in almost every environment imaginable including the Siberian Arctic in winter, at high altitude in the Himalayas and in remote rainforests in Papua New Guinea.I have excellent shooting skills (C300, FS7, FX6, prime, drone, gimbal) and can bring a distinctive style to a programme. I am experienced in shooting actuality, identifying and driving emerging storylines and getting the best out of a wide range of contributors, but equally confident working with established names as well as developing new talent.I am also experienced in directing large crews and handling logistically complex shoots including underwater and aerial filming as well as using drones to get the most out of a sequence.I have credits on observational, factual and presenter-led documentaries for major UK and US broadcasters including Netflix, BBC, C4, Nat Geo and Discovery.I am hostile environment trained (1st Option) and extreme cold weather trained (Polar Challenge).
