About Me

I am a hugely experienced Series Producer,  Producer/Director,  Edit Producer , OB Director, and Journalist.. In the past year I have been doing several things: Script Producing adventure documentaries for GCN / Discovery Network and Series Producing Find It Fix It Flog it for C4 , and a spell edit producing the Motorbike Show for IT... Over the past six years, Mark has been instrumental in the success of HCA's factual entertainment series, Find It Fix It Flog It. Filming 400 item restorations and upcycles per series across two different workshops is challenging, yet Mark consistently delivers episodes on schedule with minimal feedback from commissioners. When the series recently transitioned from Channel 4 to UKTV, Mark ensured the creative transition was seamless.

Mark's diligence, ability to manage multiple suites, editors, and edit producers, and his passion for his work set him apart. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill, combined with a collaborative spirit and the confidence to voice concerns, which is an invaluable trait in this industry. His contributions have been crucial to making Find It Fix It Flog It a long-running success. We trust Mark implicitly and consider him an integral part of the Find It Fix It Flog It team.

Hamish Rieck, Managing Director HCA Entertainment Ltd

Mark joined 'The People Remember' Team as Series Director to produce and direct the ‘as live’ links and encounters from the Imperial War Museum in London including celebrity guests and emotional musical performances. Working with a small team and limited budget Mark worked hard across three days of intensive filming and fast turnaround edits to help deliver a week of high rating programmes which secured a Broadcast Award for 'Best Daytime' programme.

Joanne Vaughan-Jones

Mark has worked for me on many series over many years. From investigative wildlife programmes for Animal Planet, to domestic consumer and current affairs series and live studio shows. He's a creative director and good series producer. My experience suggests you can chuck pretty much anything at Mark and he'lll come back with a great programme and even a nice, shiny award as well. .

James Garrett MD, Clearview Productions & Ex-Head of Programmes, ITV West

Mark brings with him a wealth of experience. He is reliable and diligent and knows what is needed to make good television. He is also constantly enthusiastic and clearly passionate about his craft. As an edit producer Mark is great to have on a team as he is well organised and methodical. He prepares himself in advance of the edit and then just gets on with the job in hand.

Julia Foot, Series Producer

I've worked with Mark on three different productions now. He's hugely experienced, versatile and utterly dependable.

Roger Farrant - Executive Producer

Mark is a great and highly trusted PD. Whether you are after multi camera coverage that looks a million dollars, but actually costs much less, or well executed single camera coverage, he's a highly adaptable and creative guy. And his journalistic training means he asks all the right questions in getting the content right. We like him!

Simon Shaw; Executive Producer BBC TV

Mark worked for Yeti Media as Series Producer on our C4 Daytime series Find It Fix It Flog It. having worked with Mark previously at BBC, I knew he had the skillset and the right attitude to be an excellent SP, and I was happily proved correct! FIFIFI is a simple series to watch, but a complex and logistically challenging series to make, so it was very important that we had a "grown up" in charge. Mark managed the complex production timetable, the previously tricky inter-relationship with both presenters and co-producers and the small editing team very well, with an enthusiasm and deftness that ensured we delivered the 25 x 60 series on time, on budget and with an ease that reflected all the hard work he put in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark to any other company seeking a creative and hugely competent SP with the capacity to manage large and complex series - though I am hoping that he will return to Yeti for another series next year!
