I’m a versatile, creative and adventurous Producer/Director working in Broadcast Television for over a decade, for BBC, Netflix, Discovery, ITV and PBS. I’m an experienced camera (and drone) operator, development producer, writer and edit-producer. Working mainly on original series and single documentaries, I thrive on developing story and style throughout production - from development to the edit. Whether I’m working with high-end talent or contributors (which has included vulnerable people), I take a calm and personable approach, well-armed with research, forethought and empathy. Having worked extensively in remote areas, I take a robust approach to safety and logistics, and have developed a trusted network of international fixers and crew. I enjoy tackling big and complex subjects - science, history, anthropology, natural history - and applying naturalistic documentary techniques.
