With both a BAFTA nomination and Grierson Shortlisted film under my belt, I have a solid background in research, scripting and story development, whether for single docs or as sections of a larger production. I'm an experienced, creative and confident factual shooter with edit experience, who can light dual camera interviews and manage small teams on location. Sensitive in my approach to filming with a first career in the Arts and Community Education, I'm a quick thinker and have found my down-to-earth personality and gentle humour builds trust and puts people at ease. Experience in blue light, sensitive medical, true crime, social history, archive, rural affairs, and family focussed stories. This is across observational documentary, documentary, specialist factual, fixed rig and docusoap. With a marine filming background, my location experience includes working in challenging environments in the UK and abroad including sea-vessels and the arctic. I have an underwater camera speciality as DOP, am a qualified HSE Advanced Diver, and have a UK drone licence.

I own my own Sony FX6, lenses, audio kit, gimbal and Mini Pro 4 drone and can hire for ad-hoc work. Have shot with DSLR, Sony FX9, Sony FX6, Sony FS7, Panasonic EVA, older camcorders such as Canon 350 and Sony PMW200, with solid working knowledge of Arri Mini, Amira and RED. Read Less
