Eva Longoria: Searching for France (CNN/BBC) I edit produced an episode about the terroir of Burgundy that influnces not just the wine but the food for this successful US food / travel series.
Hunting My Sextortion Scammer is my latest film for Channel 4’s UNTOLD strand and has been shortlisted for a British Journalism Award. Presented by musician and mental health campaigner, Jordan Stephens, this film investigates the online crime of sextortion which predominantly targets young men and has contributed to the suicide of 4 British teenagers. I filmed, produced and directed this complex film which included an undercover investigation, foreign filming in Nigeria, directing new talent and gaining access to the family of a victim who took his own life aged 16. The film has attracted lots of press coverage including features in the Sunday Times, the Daily Mail, the Mirror, the Express, and seven best shows to watch this week in the Guardian.
Coming soon... My Dad the Sex Tourist, is a single I filmed, produced and directed for Channel 4 about bi-racial young people born to sex workers in the Philippines in search of their Western father as they come of age. Working with a fixer and shooting largely in the Filipino language this was a complicated shoot on a small budget which required me to think quickly about producing scenes and asking questions to propel the narrative forward despite the tight foreign filming schedule. The access was highly sensitive and required considerable duty of care throughout. The film will TX in September 2025.
I have also recently filmed and directed 3 episodes of
True Crime ob-doc series Accused: Guilty or Innocent? for A+E/Prime/C5 across 7 different states in America. My i-visa is valid until 2027.
I am an enthusiastic, assiduous and organised
self-shooting producer/director & edit producer with strong editorial and journalistic skills. I have extensive experience making documentaries about highly sensitive subjects, obtaining and maintaining access to large and complicated organisations and tricky individuals to produce stories that take us on a journey about how we live today.
I am passionate about documentaries that explore fascinating characters and challenging social issues with warmth, humour and thoughtful enquiry. I have extensive experience working with complicated consent protocols, access agreements, stage 1s and handling all areas of legal and compliance including those involving children, mental health, criminal behaviour and contributor welfare.
I am a strong, creative shooter on the Sony and Canon cameras and shoot confidently with both prime and zoom lenses.
