New website (December 2024): https://www.joshbeattie.com/.  With a proven track record as a Broadcast-Award winning Producer and Director, my documentaries are known for their journalistic integrity and emotional depth. I am highly experienced at building long-term trusting relationships with participants, and I research my subjects meticulously.  

My skill set includes exceptional cinematography, hands-on producing skills, and particularly adept handling of sensitive subjects, ensuring the portrayal of compelling real-life stories.

From inception through to delivery, I am am a director who delivers a strong story on location and then in the cutting room. I have been shooting for twenty two years and directing for over twelve years.

KIT: I own a 4K Canon C300MKII, five zoom and prime lenses, a Sachtler tripod, new 416 mic and G4 radio mics, a pair of LED 120D Aputure Light Storms and DJI Mavic 3 Cine drone which shoots stunning images up to 5.1k / Dlog. I also have 5TB Lacie Rugged drives and a car with business insurance. I am Remote Trauma certified.

I have worked with companies including Brook Lapping, Brinkworth, Wall to Wall, Twofour, Arrow Media, Hat Trick, Lion Television, Maverick, Optomen, Emporium, and raw.
