Alex is an excellent drone operator. An eye for great shots. Very calm. A team player. Understands all the aviation laws back to front. You couldn't be in a safe pair of hands.
Alex has been our primary drone operator on Inside The Duchy (BBC Studios for ITV1) and has brought terrific production value to the project. He is a super skilled pilot, with a great techie knowledge combining a strong artistic eye. We have filmed in some highly restricted airspaces (for example Central London) and Alex's knowledge and negotiation of the permission and licence process has been exemplary. I really enjoy working with Alex - he has a voracious work ethic and is fun to be on location with.
