Jake is an experienced director, camera operator and marketer from Birmingham who has worked in the TV, commercial and corporate industry for seven years.Jake started his career as a self-shooting director, working on documentary based television series for the likes of Channel 4 and the BBC. After an introduction to the world of advertising, Jake worked for various production companies, developing a range of campaigns and managing shoots from pre-production right the way through to editing and delivery.During his time in the world of commercials, Jake has owned a reputable production company, fulfilled a Head of Film position for an international marketing agency and worked as a Director for an award-winning advertising company. Through his experience, Jake has directed and operated commercials and branded content for the likes of JCB, Bosch, Coop Pharmacy, Massey Ferguson, Dixons Carphone, Greene King, Worcester Bosch, Electrolux and National Express.As of 2020, Jake is the Founder of The Barrett Film Company, the destination for everything film and video.
