Assistant Producer with strong research skills and experience in high-quality factual and documentary TV production.

I have a thorough approach to research, attention to detail and fact-checking, and am adept at developing storylines from research through to production. I have strong skills in primary research, archives and genealogy. I am an excellent communicator and have proved myself able to negotiate sensitive contributors and family relationships, as well as academics and celebrity talent. I work well to deadlines and am calm under pressure with the skills to set up and manage shoots on location in the UK and overseas.

A PhD graduate in Media and Cultural Studies, I have a strong interest in social history, politics and culture and am keen to further develop my career in specialist factual, historical and human-interest documentary films and TV. I can edit audio and video (Reaper, Premiere Pro) and enjoy undertaking my own creative projects:
