James came and did a 4 week work experience placement at the BBC Natural History Unit in December 2015, working on VT’s for The One Show. We were delighted with his work for the team. He worked very hard, showed great initiative and a good instinct for story and the requirements of the One Show commissioners. He is a natural team-player, always offering to lend a hand and always competently dealing with all of the tasks that were asked of him. His research was thorough and he engaged well with contributors. He also demonstrated good technical skills - he did an excellent job recording the sound for 2 VT’s that will be broadcast on The One Show and also helped to man the remote cameras (overnight, outside, in the rain!) for another shoot.
