As a hostile environments-trained expedition cameraman and wildlife cinematographer based in London, I bring a unique skill set to documentary projects spanning wildlife, science, expedition, and adventure programming. My background includes work as a lighting cameraman and director of photography across genres, from drama and commercials to wildlife and expedition filming in challenging and extreme locations.

With a degree in documentary photography and a highly trained photographic eye, I specialise in capturing the intersection of the natural world and human stories, focusing on positive engagement across species and geographic boundaries. My expertise includes expedition camera work, particularly in polar and mountain environments, with a strong foundation in climbing camerawork and adventure camera operations under the most challenging conditions.

Notable credits include Emmy award-winning “Our Planet,” BAFTA-winning “Planet Earth II,” and “One Strange Rock.” My science cameraman work includes programs like “Earth’s Natural Wonders” (for which I received a BAFTA nomination), as well as “Sky At Night,” “BBC Horizon,” and “Expedition Volcano.” I have filmed in diverse environments worldwide—from high altitudes and polar ice fields to rainforests, deserts, shallow seas, and open oceans.

For film and TV crews or expedition organizers seeking a highly adaptable and skilled adventure cameraman capable of working under any condition, I bring a proven track record of delivering compelling visuals that bridge natural and human worlds.

Additionally, I'm an experienced expedition medic and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT),  bringing specialised medical skills to high-stakes environments. Currently, I’m upgrading my associate ambulance practitioner qualification to the level of Paramedic (expected registration by April 2025), expanding my capabilities to deliver comprehensive expedition medical support for a range of challenging projects.

With a background in UK Mountain Rescue and a role as teaching faculty on World Extreme Medicine’s Wilderness and Expedition Medicine courses, I am well-versed in providing advanced, adaptable medical coverage for diverse expeditions. I regularly provide autonomous medical support at UK ultramarathon events and aid stations, offering solo fast-response coverage to keep athletes and participants safe.

In addition to on-the-ground support, I’ve presented at medical and expedition conferences on critical adventure medic topics, including goal setting, teamwork, human factors, and crew resource management within expedition contexts.
