Extensive experience in production and development on both high-profile specialist factual and obs docs/reality programmes. Happy directing crews and self-shooting on location, confident taking different styles of programmes through the edit, as well as being able to edit myself.
 
Filmed in locations as varied as the jungles of Guatemala and Cambodia, the streets of India and Brazil and UK palaces and prisons. Have secured and directed interviews with people from all backgrounds, from Scottish ship builders in Clydebank to close family members of US Presidents in Washington DC. I understand the demands and expectations of commissioners and audiences on both sides of the Atlantic and while my academic background is in history, I am always interested in being involved in different types of projects.
