My background…
I studied at Barnard College, Columbia University before joining the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York. I began my creative life as part of The V-Girls, a feminist performance art collective whose satirical work toured internationally and has since been exhibited at major institutions like The Hammer Museum and Palais des Beaux-Arts. Now based in London, with dual US and UK citizenship, I bring that curiosity and wit to my filmmaking, and keep a list of British slang for Americans called They Say / We Say. My fiction shorts have sold internationally, and I've had feature scripts commissioned from companies like Ridley Scott Associates, BBC Films and Working Title.
