As a Technical Operator I have covered a broad range of roles in the gallery; Autocue, PA (using ENPS news delivery software), VT Operator (both tape and tapeless VT systems), EVS Operator (XT2), Graphics (INCA Inscriber, Aston Red and tOG software), Sound Technician (Yamaha and Calrec Desks), Racks, Vision Mixer (Sony and Snell & Wilcox Kahuna desks) and Director (variety of show formats; live OB’s, sports debate, news, current affairs, music, fashion and magazine-style shows).My work for Guardian Media Group and ScreenBoo Productions has given me great experience as a shooting PD on location. I have used Panasonic, Cannon and Sony camera kits, with responsibility for shooting, lighting and audio recording which I would then ingest and edit using Final Cut Pro.
