Extensive experience shooting abroad in remote locations; filming complex animal behaviour sequences, landscapes and people. 

I'm confident, calm and colaborative and bring strong editorial judgement, decision making and technical know-how to deliver compelling stories. I have a keen eye for detail and am highly organised - with a track record of problem-solving and staying within budget. I'm a highly skilled problem solver and resourceful, experienced in overseeing the logistics for complex and often very remote international shoots (multi-unit crews, heli, GSS). I pride myself on developing strong professional relationships with those I work with and have experience working with subjects of a sensitive nature.

As a proficient camera operator, I take huge pride in my rushes which regularly contribute to major sequences. I'm well versed in using the Phantom FLEX 4k, Phantom VEO, RED Gemini/Helium, Sony FX6, Selex superhawk, Sony A7Siii/FS7 and more. I've shot long lens and macro animal behavioural sequences for major BBC productions, as well as down the lens interviews, on the shoulder run-and-gun style actuality, and directed presenters, scientists and contributors across a range of formats. I also have experience across two major BBC programmes operating fixed rig PTZ camera rigs around the clock, requiring meticulous attentention to detail and developing character storylines.
