I started my Television career as a cameraman in South Africa during the years of apartheid and through the transition working on a wide range of broadcast material from investigative journalism,wildlife, environmental,lifestyle and travel programs . I moved to the UK in 2001 finding work with the major broadcasters . With a solid back ground in factual, and observational documentary films I have filmed in challenging environments from extreme cold, high altitude, deserts, seas and jungles to a Trauma centre in Southampton. I pride myself on my ability to work well in a team, supporting and enhancing the director’s vision. Flexible and easy to get on with, I am highly motivated to achieve the best from a situation. My warmth and good humour are the qualities that put people at ease in many filming situations. Comfortable working solo and experienced as a self shooting PD I enjoy working outside the broadcast world, filming and producing educational films, charity films aimed at public awareness.I love to see a project from concept to completion.
